Is UF online the same as PaCE? ›

Same Degree, Same FacultyUF Online & PaCE students earn the same degree as students who attend all their classes on campus, taught by the same world-renowned faculty.

Since 2015, Pathway to Campus Enrollment, or PaCE, provides freshmen with the opportunity to start their UF degree online and then transition to campus to complete an undergraduate degree.

The acceptance rate for the PaCE program is generally higher than for regular UF admission, but the exact percentage might vary from year to year, depending on the applicant pool. For reference, UF's overall acceptance rate is typically around 23%-30%.

Pace Online. Pace's commitment to providing an exceptional education for busy professionals extends beyond our campuses with a comprehensive selection of online degrees—including undergraduate and graduate programs as well as online professional certificates.

Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) provides an excellent opportunity for homeowners in Florida to take advantage of home improvements for improving energy efficiency and protection against hurricanes. Many homeowners choose to purchase impact windows or doors due to their wide range of benefits.

Generally, all PaCE students must complete the following: at least 60 credits (at least 15 of which must be through UF Online*) at least 2 semesters in UF Online.

Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) organizations provide primary care, social, restorative, and supportive services for Medicaid and Medicare eligible individuals 55 years of age and older who live in a PACE service area.

Pace University offers students as much financial assistance as possible. Financial Aid can come in many forms, including scholarships and grants, work study, and student loans.

You must be enrolled in at least 1 credit hour and be classified as a degree-seeking student at the University of Florida to participate in Panhellenic Recruitment. Innovation Academy and PaCE students will be able to seek membership in a social fraternity or sorority as long as they meet the above requirements.

Yes. Ivy House is one of the only dorms for University of Florida PaCE students. While some students will opt to stay home, many students will move to Gainesville. University of Florida PaCE students do not have the option to live in traditional University of Florida dorms.

Since our founding in 1906 as a one-room accounting school, we've grown and expanded to cross disciplines and industries, but we've always been the go-to choice for achievers with big goals and outsized ambition.

The UF Office of Admissions selects qualified freshman applicants for the PaCE (Pathway to Campus Enrollment) Program—this is not a program students apply for. As a PaCE student, you'll start your career by taking your courses through UF Online.

As a UF Online student, you'll learn from the same UF faculty and earn the same UF degree while studying from anywhere in the world.

Students can complete college courses at their own pace. In self-paced online college courses, learners do coursework around other obligations. They do not need to follow set meeting times or due dates. Some students complete an entire program through self-paced classes.

Offered in a self-paced online format, these courses do not observe the traditional UF semester calendar and do not require a non-degree application. Most flexible learning courses are entirely asynchronous. Students may begin taking courses anytime but course work must be completed within 16 weeks.

The acceptance rate at the University of Florida Online is 65%. While that's not particularly high, especially compared to other online colleges, it's nearly three times as high as the acceptance rate for on-campus programs at the University of Florida.
