|Computer Hardware||Abacus has up-to-date tablet, lap-top and desk-top personal computers equipped with the latest high-speed CPUs. Data is shared within and among our offices and field locations via secure Virtual Private Networks.
In addition, Abacus utilizes high-resolution color laser printers for report production (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, etc.) and color plotters and printers for the production of project schedules, drawings, and exhibits used for demonstrative graphics. Abacus utilizes digital cameras for site monitoring and reconnaissance.
Abacus also maintains high-speed, networked personal computers for training seminars.
Abacus utilizes the most current version of Microsoft Windows and Apple System. Abacus maintains licenses for a variety of software, which allow us to organize and present data in a variety of useful ways.
Abacus has multiple licenses for all of the most popular "Office Suites", such as: Microsoft Office and WordPerfect.
For document organization and control we use Concordance | Opticon | Xera iConect.
For project management: Prolog Manager, Pertmaster, Primavera (P3 & P6), SureTrack, and Microsoft Project for Windows.
For accounting, Sage and Business Works.
For drawing and graphics production, AutoCad, Adobe Illustrator, Paint Shop Pro and Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop.
